The Tea Party by Jessica Nelson North

The Tea Party

"I had a little tea party
This afternoon at three.
'Twas very small-
Three guest in all-
Just I, myself and me.

Myself ate all the sandwiches,
While I drank up the tea;
'Twas also I who ate the pie
And passed the cake to me."

Can you relate?  I think I could eat a whole plate of tea sandwiches alone!

I'm with you! I could eat all the cucumber tea sandwiches I can find! Fun post.

Great poem! I love cucumber and also egg salad tea sandwiches. They're usually so tiny that I can eat many.

Me too, Steph! The tea sandwiches are my favorite part of a tea party.
